Welcome to the Parish of the Good Shepherd.

Following Saturday evening’s announcement by the Prime Minister of a Lockdown for the whole of England beginning on Thursday, 5th November, please see below.

Times of opening for private prayer: St Thomas of Canterbury & Star of the Sea

St. Thomas of Canterbury, St. Leonard’s-on-Sea will be open Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11am until 12 noon and Sundays from 9.30am until 10.30am.

St Mary Star of the Sea, Hastings will be open for private prayer beginning November 8th: Sundays: 11am until 1pm. Wednesdays and Fridays: 11am until 12 midday

Holy Mass will be celebrated daily and shared via Facebook; 10am Monday to Saturday and 11am Sunday’s.

Our Parish is a community of faith. We believe in the love and forgiveness of God and spread the ‘Good News’ among those we meet. Our churches , are in the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton.

We serve the Catholic community of St Leonards & Hollington and are part of the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton and the Deanery of St Leonards.

Our Churches are St Thomas of Canterbury & English Martyrs, Magdalen Road, St Leonards on Sea, TN37 6ET & Holy Redeemer, Upper Church Road, St Leonards on Sea, TN37 7AS.

Our Parish Priest is Fr Míċeál Beatty and has been with us since October 2017.
